If you are looking for miles per hour look at "Zero To Sixty" app

Simple Instructions For Use:
  • Choose a good and safe place to use "Zero To 100"
    • Most of us don't have access to a race track, but you can still pick a good spot
    • Obviously, you want some place with not a lot of traffic
    • Choose a place where the legal speed limit is 100kmph or above
    • For best accuracy, your chosen location needs to be LEVEL - no hills
    • A highway that has wide paved shoulders make a good place
  • Pull safely over to the shoulder of the road before starting
  • Lay your mobile device down on a reasonably flat and level surface
    • passenger seat, transmission hump, your lap as a last resort
    • it should be flat so the device doesn't rock back and forth
    • you want the device "pointing down the road", not vertical
    • be sure it is someplace where it won't slide around when you hit the gas
    • DO NOT hold the device and do not have a passenger hold it - lay it down
  • Look around and wait for a long break in the traffic
  • Hit the big button labeled "Get Zero To 100 Time"
  • Sit there and watch the traffic while you wait for the "peal out" sound
  • If the coast is clear, hit the gas!
    • you can wait up to 15 seconds for traffic to clear
    • this is NOT a reaction time test - timing will start when you hit the gas
    • if there is traffic when the sound comes, just wait and try again
    • don't hit the gas before the sound comes - you won't get anything useful
    • DO NOT look at the device while waiting - WATCH THE TRAFFIC
  • Once you have passed 100kmph, Zero To 100 will play a sound to tell you you're there
  • After you pass 100 and hear the sound, safely pull back over to the shoulder
    • don't be unsafe and look at the device while still driving - your time will be still there
    • many speedometers "lag behind" the actual speed when accelerating
    • that means you may hear the sound just before the speedo says you're at 100
    • many cars have an inaccurate speedomoter - Zero To 100 is more accurate
    • don't watch the device, just drive (fast!) until you're past 100
  • If you want, you can enter a name to remember this time by, and save it for later
  • That's all there is to it!
